Hazel Class

2024-2025

Welcome to Hazel Class, taught by Miss Tomlinson and supported by Mrs Marsh.

We are looking forward to an exciting Summer Term. Our topics are’ Explorers’ and ‘The Great Outdoors’. We will also be practising our orientation skills using a compass around the school grounds.

In this lovely weather, please ensure your child has sun cream applied before school and that they bring in a sun hat for when outdoors.

Our PE days are on a Monday and Tuesday so please ensure the children come into school dressed in their full PE kits on these days.

Our spring term homework grid can be found on Dojo and can be photographed and sent via Dojo.

Can you please ensure that your child brings their reading book and record into school every day.

Topics

Fire Fire: In Autumn term we will be learning all about The Great Fire of London; if you have anything interesting or relevant to this topic, please let me know as we would love to include these in our learning. 

Family Album: In Spring term we will be learning all about Changes within Living Memory and Living Things and their Habitats. We can't wait to go and observe plants in our local area. 

Explorers: In Summer term we will learning all different materials with a focus on the scientist Charles Macintosh. I am looking forward to an exciting year of learning in Hazel class.
